PPP, PML-N afraid of growing popularity of PTI: Information Minister

Information Minister says youth are agents of real change in Naya Pakistan.

Talking to media in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said Pakistan is blessed with huge number of young people and they will play a crucial role in national development in future.  

Particularly appreciating the role of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa youth in strengthening PTI in the province, the Minister said political vision of youth of KPK is enlightened for welfare of the country.

He said the success of PTI under the charismatic leadership of Imran Khan is a revolution of middle class. The Minister said the government will create numerous job opportunities to harness the potential of youth.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said PTI has emerged as a vibrant force in all four provinces, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, as only a leadership of integrity and moral values can defeat the forces of corruption and nepotism.

Criticizing the politics of PPP and PML-N, he said the two political parties are afraid of the growing popularity of PTI.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said we have no personal enmity with political leadership of both the parties.

He said PTI did not start cases against the leaders of these two political parties; neither had it appointed the NAB officials. He said all the main leaders of both the parties were implicated in various cases related to corruption during the tenures of previous governments.

He said a New Pakistan has emerged in which there is no place for corruption.   

Meanwhile talking to media after a ceremony in connection with Sports and Cultural Festival 2019, in Islamabad, Fawad Hussain said sports activities are being restored throughout the country. 

He said PSL was revived due to successes in the war against terrorism. 

The Information Minister said implementation of National Action Plan against terrorism is underway to completely eliminate the scourge of terrorism.

Earlier, addressing the ceremony Information Minister said Pakistani players won several national and international events in the past including 1992 Cricket World Cup.

Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said play grounds will be established at Tehsil and Union levels for the promotion of sports at the grass root level.

He asked the parents, teachers and other segments of society to help their children to come to play grounds instead of spending times before the screen. He called for inclusion of women in sports at a higher level.

He said women's participation in the sports activities is very important to expand the chances of success of Pakistan in different sports related events.
