Pakistan, Canada to hold trade dialogue in Ottawa today

Pakistan and Canada will hold trade dialogue in Ottawa today aimed at promoting bilateral trade.

Commerce Minister Pervaiz Malik who is representing Pakistan at the dialogue is also scheduled to meet with Canadian Minister of International Trade Francois-Philippe Champagne to discuss all trade related issues.

The current volume of bilateral trade between Pakistan and Canada has increased by one hundred and thirty three percent during the last three years from seven hundred and thirty two million Canadian dollars in 2013 to 1.8 billion Canadian dollars during the last year.

Both sides recognize that there exists a huge potential for enhancing the existing bilateral trade.
