Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice retired Javed Iqbal has said that the NAB has been established to provide protection to the people of the country.

Addressing a ceremony in Lahore on Tuesday, he said that a propaganda against the Bureau is going on and those who do not know the significance of this institution are criticizing the NAB law.

He said that the NAB is performing the most difficult duty of recovering looted wealth of the nation.

The Chairman said that Bureau has proved that its actions against corrupt elements are across the board as it does not believe in victimization.
